About Us
DAPA Services is owned and run by Dave Rochester and Paul Flannaghan. We came to Tenerife in September 2005 with the intention of buying a bar. After a few unsuccessful attempts to find a bar we gave up on the idea and went back to the drawing board. About that time an acquaintance asked us to temporarily look after his holiday apartment as he was having problems with his then cleaners. We willingly agreed to help out and very quickly realized there was an opening for this type of work if the quality was right. Word got round about the quality of our service and the work steadily came in. It's a pleasure to see the same holiday makers coming back time and time again. We have a great rapport with them. More recently we have expanded into the private dwelling sector and are delighted with the recommendations we are getting.

I was born in Morpeth, Northumberland in 1963. After completing my A levels I went to work at the then TSB in Newcastle City office where I stayed for 5 years. I needed a change of environment but wanted to remain in the same industry so I joined Standard Life in 1986. I took promotions to Aberdeen office then Glasgow and then back to Newcastle and on to Cambridge office for my first Area Manager role. After a couple of years I moved back to Glasgow office. I was given the task of expanding the office from 40 to 150 staff and having the new "super" office established and functional within the space of 2 months. A difficult task but successfully completed. Shortly afterwards I was promoted to the divisional Executive and did that in tandem with Managing Glasgow office. Standard Life went through major changes in the early 1990's in the run up to their flotation on the stock market. My division was severely downsized and I decided to opt for voluntary redundancy and realize my dream of living in Tenerife.

I was born in North Tyneside in 1964. I started work as a shop assistant in a designer Menswear shop in Newcastle City centre. I soon realized that I had a natural aptitude for window dressing and display work. I moved to Aberdeen with David in the late 1980's and worked for a couple of local designer Menswear shops and John Lewis in the city centre. We then moved on to Glasgow back to Newcastle and on to Cambridge. In Cambridge I worked for a designer Menswear in Ely. We then bought a run down 3 storey Victorian townhouse in Kings Lynn which I spent 6 months single handedly restoring to perfection. Over the years I have decorated and staged our houses for selling due to our frequent relocations. Estate agents have always been amazed and one even asked "Do you actually live in this house"? My final job in the UK was in Glasgow working for Dunne's stores as window dresser. I gave this up to move to Tenerife when David took voluntary redundancy.
Paul's artistic ability and flair for creating fantastic visual impressions combined with Dave's organizational skills and Management experience in successful businesses make for an awesome combination that the competition can only aspire to. Both of us have strong values, business acumen and a solid commitment to Customer Service. You only have 1 chance to make a first impression so we never miss that opportunity
